RMA won a prestigious contract with a leading powered access sales and hire organisation. The organisation had decided to move strategically toward a consultancy driven health and safety system. This strategy ensured that health and safety competence was at the centre of their decision and risk management process.

The audit and review processes have encouraged involvement at all levels of the business and most importantly within the branches. The customer interface is now much improved as a partnering approach quickly identified synergies that would improve performance for supply chain management and health and safety.

A systems approach has ensured that through 2008 OHSAS 18001 will be pursued using RMA's preferred accreditor LRQA.

This approach allows a Progressive Route Into Systems Management (PRISM) whereby a certificate can be awarded to demonstrate a commitment to systems management.
